CNOOC announced twice a day that the oil spill in Suizhong oilfield had been cleaned up, and the Huizhou refinery fire did not cause marine pollution

in response to the two consecutive safety accidents exposed before, CNOOC, which is in the "eye of the storm", issued two announcements on the 13th, saying that the oil spill on the Bohai Suizhong central platform has been cleaned up and the oil field has gradually resumed production; At the same time, the post disaster disposal work of CNOOC Huizhou refining branch is also progressing smoothly

CNOOC, including the laminate fiber reinforced thermosetting and thermoplastic composites division, said that its Tianjin branch had completed the cleaning of the oil film on the sea surface near Suizhong oilfield at 14:00 on July 13, and the emergency disposal of oil spill in the oilfield was completed. At 14:15 on the same day, the central platform of Suizhong oilfield completed the oil pollution cleaning of the torch and the ignition was successful, and the oilfield began to gradually resume production

CNOOC also said that as of 17:30 on July 11, the fire accident risk of CNOOC Huizhou refining branch has also been eliminated and the emergency response has been lifted. There were no casualties during the accident and rescue. According to the monitoring of the environmental protection department, no marine pollution was caused

according to the company, the atmospheric indicators monitored at all local monitoring points have been restored to the requirements of environmental protection standards. Due to two sudden rainstorms at 18:30 and 23:00 p.m. on August 11, 2015, a small amount of fire-fighting wastewater overflowed, causing slight pollution of the spillway. In order to reduce the impact of the discharged wastewater on the offshore, the emergency personnel preset three oil booms at the entrance of the flood discharge channel for protection, and used oil absorbent felt, activated carbon and other degreasing materials to treat the floating oil in the plant. The results of sampling and testing on July 12 showed that the water quality of the Sea outlet reached the class V standard for petroleum substances, the other classes reached the class IV standard, and the water quality of offshore waters all reached the standard

CNOOC said that except for the shutdown of the accident device, other devices remained in normal production, and the company was investigating the cause of the accident and dealing with the aftermath

recently, "oil leakage" has become the biggest worry of CNOOC

at more than 1 a.m. on July 12, equipment failure occurred in the central control system of the central platform of Suizhong oilfield, the production of the whole oilfield was shut down, and the gas discharged from the flare head of the process pressure relief was instantly brought out of the crude oil into the sea. The oil leakage formed an oil film of about 1 square kilometer

this is the second oil spill accident that CNOOC has suffered recently. From June 4 to 21, oil spills occurred successively on platform B and platform C of Penglai, China's largest offshore oil and gas field, and the sea water quality of 840 square kilometers in the Bohai Sea area fell from class I to inferior class IV

the oil field is jointly owned by CNOOC and ConocoPhillips International Oil Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of ConocoPhillips China, which fully meets the requirements of environmental friendly materials. Because its structure is more complex than trapezoidal screw, the shares held by both companies are 51% and 49% respectively
